Biography
My name is Elizabeth. I love the Lake District and for over twenty years have been lucky to live close enough to walk in the mountains most weekends.
During the week, once work is over, I tend a small garden. This has the dual aim of being wildlife friendly and also providing some food. There is some conflict between these aims, as the wildlife often gets to the food before I do.
This blog is about walks in the Lake District, and sometimes other lovely places, with occasional glances at the garden. It is to share the things I enjoy or find beautiful.

Fell-walking, sitting and looking at the view from mountaintops, gardening, photography.
